Norwegian anti-Islamic fanatic Anders Behring Breivik told a court on Thursday that he used computer games to prepare for his attacks, once spending an entire year isolated from society playing a game for hours on end.

Breivik, on trial for massacring 77 people last July, said he spent "lots of time" playing Modern Warfare, a first-person shooting game, and also took an entire year off to play World of Warcraft, a multi-player role-playing game with more than 10 million subscribers.

in our news only World of Warcraft was mentioned .... so not what outsiders think is a 'wargame' ...phew ;)

what he played and when, can be read in detail in his diary (or should it be called blog?) which is (the better;)) part to read of his 1500 pages document... i was able to get hold of a copy in the net at the day after, to find a clue on how he was ticking

Some of the points made in this CNN article are actually kinda funny.

Point 1.5: Lots of people who play "FarmVille" don't actually farm.

Here's a related point: People who play other kinds of video games don't usually (or ever) act out the things they do in the games. "Shooters do not create real-life killers. Neither does "FarmVille" create real-life farmers," another Google+ commenter said.

Anyone want to bet that despite this fact some idiot (or more likely - group thereof) won't try to make the connection?

Which is my point, probably 50%+ of the male population has played 1st person shooters, with 100% having looked at porn and drunk water.
