Generators have become essential equipment at the Casa Slash since Hurricane Charlie in 2004. All the things you said about them, good and bad, are true. But when the power goes out, there's no substitute for them. Many people here have gone to In-Ground Generators that run on diesel and come-on automatic when the power goes down like the hospitals have. But they're very pricey. Also FEMA will reimburse you for food lost in your fridge after a storm but there's LOTS of paper work. Glad your Pug's better. :clap:
