I'm guessing this is old news but I just found flight manuals online:

So I'm reading:

That website is charging money for manuals that are available online for free. Do they bind them or provide some other service of value?

Yeah, no binding, no physical.  PDF only scans of freely available material for a price.  Seems pretty sketchy.

  That's where I found that manual...so making it findable seems to be the service.  I was happy to get the PDF.

I've used them once to find a manual I couldn't find for free elsewhere, so they do provide a service for obscure manuals.  And at the time it was about $10 for a manual, so the price wasn't unreasonable.  However, many manuals are available for free elsewhere
