Did any of you actually watch this?  I just tried to watch it this morning but had to turn it off.  I know you have to suspend disbelief to varying degrees to enjoy films, but Lucy gets science so horribly wrong so many times that I was actually offended.  I couldn't finish it.

Well, yes.  You can postulate hypotheses that contradict current knowledge.  They also get current science wrong, including that utterly contemptible "we only use 10% of our brains!" nonsense.  Perhaps if I'd watched more of it I'd have learned that souls weigh 21g too...

Very true. It's interesting how much stupidity I can accept from a movie before I start to hate it.

I agree with this to an extent, and I do try to suspend disbelief as much as I can (I'm a big fan of Star Trek for example), but Lucy was just too much.  It irritated the piss out of me.
