Hey everyone.
Just wondering who here was getting Guild Wars 2 so that we could organize a bit of a Grogheads guild for fun and profit (and possibly some PVP)?
I don't know anything about the servers, but I have heard that Stormbluff Isle might be a good choice.
The turnout here might not be huge, but I think I read you can belong to multiple guilds and I know a few people from Octopus Overlords and a group that calls themselves the Wanderers, so we could always try to hook up with one of them. The OO people are a lot of fun and despite the fact that some of them have heathen political proclivities compared to members here, I think we would get along swimmingly.
Anyway, we should definitely plan something. If there is going to be interest, I will research how to set up a Guild and such.

Have you done any thinking about servers? I just now got looking into it. You are over at OO, aren't you? They are being wishy-washy about their server, so I thought it best to mobilize more stable people. ;)

In the Beta I randomly picked one :P
All I prefer is an English PvE one (no free open world PvP).
I'll probably be getting this (have it on pre-order but may have to cancel it). If so I'm definitely in, although I probably won't be online at the same time as you guys much. :(
I'm not pre-ordering (I think?) so I'll probably jump in when I'm good & ready after release.
AFAIK, my current guild is gonna be there (dunno how many) so I'll probably be hanging with them. However, I can probably have our guildmiss ally you guys or whatever. Pretty sure there's one other person hereabouts who's been in that guild too.

I plan to pick up GW2 but will most likely wait for the price to drop a bit.
I was still deciding whether to go ahead with my pre-order, when suddenly my retailer emailed me a headstart code! They aren't even on the list so I didn't think I'd get one. Needless to say, it's sealed the deal and I'll be in tomorrow. :D

I'm on the American server Emhyr's Bay or something like that.
I do believe however that server transfers are free.
OK I'm making characters on Emhyrs Bay. I made a guardian dude. Sounded as close a Palidin as I could get in this game. I love me Palidans and Rangers.

Can't find Bison but I found Kushan, Grim Reaper, and Tpek.
My first character is an Asura engineer. It's a little furry for my taste but the role looked interesting. Spent about an hour poking around, sent some friend requests and I'm logging for the night.
Nefaro.7263 is in the hizzee and cooking up a new character at the moment. :P

Chaps, I'm sorry but I'm going to find a larger guild to join, at least until some more Euro Grogs get the game. I'm almost always on my own when I play, and since influence is separated by region or server (not sure which) it will be ages before I can even start building upgrades.
If the guild fleshes out a bit with more people in my timezone I'll jump straight back in!

Though I do meet you online sometimes (unfortunately you're in a different region).
Just remember that one of the strong points of GW2 is that you can belong to several guilds at once :)
I still plan to jump in at some point once I can afford to buy it - cash is a little tight just now :-((

Yskonyn.8469 - I am EU based, so on a different server, but I don't think that would be a problem other than not being able to do WvW together.
I barely had time to play lately, but this reminds me I should REALLY get back in the game.
I think I gave several guild members already the ability to recruit people. If not this is really the time others also take up an Admin spot on the guild :P

Representing or not, it'll at least make a convenient shortlist to the grogs here. ;)
