I like the stuff, but I'm careful to trim off any excess fat. I used to like streaky bacon (I still do) cooked really crispy in sandwiches, but don't have it much now because of the cholesterol. :'(

No idea yet.  I bought them as a semi-gag gift for a poker/drinking buddy who runs a swine research unit.  Should see him at the "research meeting" at the bar next wednesday.  We will try them then.
