Sir Slash

I just watched this film today after having it on my DVR for a month or so. Great movie, Phillip Seymore Hoffman's last film before his death, about the war on terrorism and the twists and turns of fighting it. Not a lot of action, this isn't Mission Impossible, but I couldn't stop watching it and I found it totally believable as a depiction of intelligence activities as performed today in many countries though it takes place in Germany. Hoffman is superb in the film and you never know who the good guys and bad guys are until the very end. I'd take a couple of points off for an ending that doesn't end, it just stops. But otherwise a solid 8 outta 10.
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.
