I'm very lucky to be living in a place with such history. Colchester is full of Roman history and is the UK's oldest recorded Roman town. It was actually the capital of Roman Britain

Yes JD, we OldEuropeans are blessed with history and and historic sights all around, aren't we   :)

were the Americans are happy to call some cobbled pavement from maybe 1770 historic  ^-^

We also have Williamsburg to remind us of our British roots and how much fun it is to make fun of them today. Along with their cobblestones.  :hug:
