  This is from Midway Solitaire (Decision Games)...sort of a rough-for-the-Imperial-Navy Coral Sea event, due to some good radio intercepts by the USN:

  So the Imperial Navy took Attu and Tulagi, and even redeployed to attack Port Moresby with more force.  This did not turn out well, though it was -- at this point where I'm thinking of
revising some deployments for the Imperial Navy next time around -- wierdly historical in that Lexington has been sunk and the Yorktown Damaged while the Imperial navy has lost
3 big carriers and 3 light carriers and some transports.  I'm thinking there should be a better mechanism for stopping doomed offensives once they lose too much air cover:
