Saudi arabia is never going to take in any refugees. That would open the flood they will never be able to contain. Dont forget that 80+% of the workforce comes from countries such as Bangladesh etc, and if they start accepting regugees they risk all these people will also apply.

Saudi Arabia is actually claiming that it has accepted it's share of Syrians. Thing is, it's counting those who are there on work visas as it's share.

exactly, that way they dont have to give them refugee status and can throw them out at their own convenience

Dont think any country minds immigrants that can contribute to the society and actually has a job at hand, but what we see now is a flood of people who for the most part will never be integrated, and never get a job. Here in Denmark 70+% of those seeking refugee 3 or more years ago hasnt been able to find a job. Thats a huge problem, since our government insist on giving them welfare and housing.
