I had some really good butter on a roll in Germany once.  It was amazing.  But I think the best butter I've ever eaten was in Ireland.  I don't know what secrets the Irish hold but they make some of the world's best butter.

I remember fresh hot Butterbretzeln for breakfast. A hot soft German pretzel sliced sideways like a bagel with butter in it. Jeeze that was good!
