Title: Montélimar – Ill Wind for 11 Panzer
Post by: MengJiao on April 04, 2019, 08:57:04 AM
More historically, Here 11 PZ and a Luftwaffe field detachment, tries to dislodge Task Force Butler and elements of the Free French and 36th Division from the German Evacuation route.  IT's 11am and Task Force Butler has spent a lot of VPs and command points stopping the recon and luftwaffe.  If the wind blows more on schedule, the Recon and Luftwaffe will be able to move better as the barrages clear up.  Meanwhile, the main force of 11 PZ has arrived and is by-passing a lot of that fuss (though the US just rolled up another big batch of Airstrikes as the 11 am turn gets underway -- at least the barrages have cleared with a pull of the Wind Chit):

And 11 Panzer has rolled up a Hero!  And the Recon Bn and the Luftwaffe get moving:

And a few hours later, the allies rolled up a Hero and he and the Free French with HMGs seem to have stopped the main 11 PZ thrust for the time being:
