Dungeons and Dragons -  Turned based, rules as written.  Good lord WotWC are abject marketing fools when it comes to D&D and the PC.  I know we have the BG series and IWD which can be set up with pauses to the RTS combat.  NWN and NWN2 again can be paused.  However the TT game IS a TBS.  People who play D&D KNOW its turn based.  The closest D&D ever came to a real PC version was the Pool of Radiance series back in the day.  It was TBS adventuring movement and combat.  Seriously think of the DLC cash cow that WotWC is passing up.  /sigh/

I actually liked POR, but there was plenty of stuff cut from the rules set for it. 

Temple of Elemental Evil was the best iteration, by far.  It's too bad the characters looked like blobs compared to everything else but that's what you pay for excellent turn-based combat I guess.
