The American Cemetery of the Ardennes ground is also given to the US by Belgium.
Maybe this is standard procedure ?

In my little town we have a, 'British Cemetary' where RAF fliers are buried, about two dozen I believe, that died while training here during WWII. The site was officially given to Britain back in 1976 as part of the Centennial Celebration. So, maybe it is a regular thing.
