Entirely new gaming experience for me....

Who would have thought how much different gaming could be?  Previously, I owned a 32 inch (720p) monitor that doubled for my PC monitor and Xbox console, but the TV decided to start to die this past week.  I found a reasonably priced 39-inch 1080p monitor yesterday and all that I can say is....wow!  For the first time I am able to play all my games in very high-res.  Never thought it would make this big of a difference so I always hesitated upgrading.  But between the new TV and the new card (HD6850) I got a couple months back, all my games have new life.

I immediately tried games like CMBN, SOW, Endless Space, and of course my console games.....huge difference.   I should have done this long ago!

Agreed. Skyrim is far, far more impressive in 42" than 19". And I have, quite frankly, a pretty outdated graphics card, so it was a sheer size thing more than a resolution thing in my experience. I cannot wait to give it shot on the new build, coming soon.
