Did anyone else see this?

Wasn't great, but I enjoyed it. I liked it's near future theme and thought the moon combat scene was pretty cool. Ships and combat reminded me of the game Children of a Dead Earth, with a very plausible scientific feel. It was a pretty philosophical movie and the inner monologues reminded me a lot of the Terrence Malick films, Thin Red Line and New World.

I did think it odd that one expedition made it only so far as Neptune finding no extraterrestrial life and the conclusion is that man is all alone. I mean, Neptune is barely on our intergalactic front porch, but I understand that the emptiness was an important plot concept for the philosophical meaning of the movie.

Anyway, if bored, it's worth checking out.
