So 2021 officially sucks.  RIP.

Quote
Christopher Plummer, the legendary actor best known for his roles in "Sound of Music" and "All the Money in the World," has died. He was 91.

Plummer passed away peacefully at his home in Connecticut alongside his wife, Elaine Taylor, his family confirmed. His manager, Lou Pitt, also confirmed his death in a statement shared with Fox News on Friday.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.   Thomas Jefferson

During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.   George Orwell

If you ever find yourself in need of a safe space then you’re probably going to have to stop calling yourself a social justice warrior. You cannot be a warrior and a pansy at the same time.   Mike Adams (RIP Mike)

Worked until he went to his reward!  :notworthy: As I was checking on my parents last week, they were watching something (on Netflix I think) where CP was playing the elderly father (or grandfather maybe) of a young woman of a noble house who's having an affair with a Nazi officer early in Hitler's career. The grandfather was PRETTY SALTY about this guy courting her. ;) Don't know what happened eventually with that, but I was glad to see that scene.  O:-) (Of course I saw him in Knives Out, too, so I already knew he was still alive and working, and glad to see it.)
