An airshow crash of a replica Fokker DVIII monoplane killed the pilot on Saturday - RIP.

The crash happened at the "Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome" in upstate New York. Rhinebeck has held regular air shows with WWI and vintage aircraft since the mid-1960s. The pilot was very experienced. His plane went down with a visible engine fire.
