GOG currently has a HUGE sale for all manner of space-themed games.  It includes titles like Stellaris, Master of Orion, Surviving Mars, BattleTech, No Man's Sky, Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock, and more.  Definitely worth checking out if you've had an eye on any of these games but hadn't picked them up yet.

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.

Stardock has a weekend sale on some of their more popular titles (Sins, GalCiv3, etc.).


Total War likewise has a weekend sale on all of their historical titles.  Definitely a good time pick up and try any that you were waffling about/sitting on the fence for (such as Thrones of Britannia).

Missed that one.  Looks really interesting and I've been hankering for a new rpg - and I love turn based combat.
