Wings of Glory for iOS
« on: April 23, 2012, 09:34:40 AM »
Wings of Glory, previously Wings of War before FFG got dumped as the distributor, is a WWII table top air combat game...

It's now being made for iOS!

This is freaking awesome. I have about 12 Wings of War WWI minis and my friends and I play every chance we get. Great fun and easy to play... especially when you're full of beer!  8)

i have this game too.... but only played it once with friends... it was a blast.
one things about all these boardgame ports: i own some and Neuroshima Hex and others are
really well done. but all of them lack a lot of fun compared to a game with friends around a table.

i think there could be a lot more done to make boardgames work on a computer. enhance rules, scenarios, make campaigns, anything to make up for the loss of the drama of a real game. they still could implement a classical game mode for the purist fans.
Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.
