Hyborian War is a wargame where people send in their turns via snail mail or email.
It seems to be a pretty old game, but it looks quite interesting.
It features all the nations from the Conan The Barbarian lore as created by Robert E Howard.
There's also a community website called The Road of Kings

Has anyone here evert participated?

However, if pilots would need to do daily what they are capable of doing, nobody would dare to fly anymore."

Crom almighty, that old warhorse is still around???

Yeah, I played it for a couple of years back in the pre-computer game days. I enjoyed it, but like most games of it's type, people would drop out which diluted the playability somewhat. I remember it having a lot of flavor. I played a LOT of PBM games and it was one of my favorites. I don't really remember details though, just that I liked it. The 80's are kind of like that for me now  8)
