Is it really the new ACW2 Engine? The map looks older like ACW 1.. as opposed to Napoleon and AJE, where the map looks a lot 'newer'?

  I think ROP Gold is the most recent version of the AGEOD engine in terms of game functionality.  The maps vary a lot.  Napoleon's map is one of the oldest.

  I suspect that if you get ACW1, you will be looking at a pretty old version of what the AGEOD engine offers, whereas it looks like ROP Gold has the version of the engine closest to what ACW2 will have.
