Brand new song from the brand new album from one of Scotland's best bands ever.

I've played Stellaris a lot this week after the last patch and must say i am fairly happy with the state of the game now. So the plan is:

- Stellaris
- Conflict: Desert Storm
- Stronghold Warlords
(very very slow progress).
- Master of Orion CtS

Maybe also some Master of Orion 3 (motivated by playing Stellaris).

Have a good weekend fellas

Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail. It's getting a bit complex moving so many ships about without knocking their bowsprits off. I have to learn how to manage the line of battle proper.

Star Citizen 3.13 has been released so might try that

Ancestors Legacy Free Peasants edition will no doubt get a run

Company of Heroes 2 Wikinger mod. This things AI is insanely hard. Still learning it.

Tempted to update DCS for some reason as well. Still weighing up the Hind and Mossie. But I just don't like early access anymore. It takes years and the negative learning is frustrating for those who do not have the time to put in repeatedly learning the same thing.

I'd love to get a mission or two of Tank Crew in. Might be interesting now folks have AA trucks.

Steel Division 2 will get a run as well I am sure. Reading about their plans for SD2 over the next who knows how long. The below statement was just posted by Eugen:
"At Eugen, we have been working hard on Steel Division 2 for years, and we have no intention of letting up any time soon! Rest assured, we plan to support and develop Steel Division 2 for the foreseeable future."

Are The Delgados back together?

(I kid, but when I come to think of it, there have been plenty of Scotish bands that hit me right in the heart with their stuff; still weep over Stuart Adamson's death as Big Country meant loads to me)

Kinda at a stand-by point with The Division 2 as I'm cheesed that once I cleared D.C., I had to go and do it all over again with those Black Tusk asshats.  I'm 3/4 of the way done there too and I'm just put off by having to slog through the same maps...again.  Not feelin' it, if you know what I mean.

Eh, reckon I'll go work on the mowers.

Same here, many great scotisch bands. I was a huge fan of Big Country (discovered them only in 1989) and my world fell apart when Stuart died.

Del Amitri was one of my favorites as well. So this is their first new record since 2000 (?).

Knee-deep in Enderal: Forgotten Stories but will probably shelve it for a while as I am fading out of my RPG mood and into more of an historical mood. So I've got Total War: Three Kingdoms, Assassin's Creed: Origins, Age of Empires Definitive Edition, Total War - Rome 2, and Civ VI queued and ready.

Also girding my loins for next weeks' Rome TW Remastered release :)

IIRC there are formations (4 ships?) and formation orders.  Maybe I'll play some this weekend.  That and Imperiums:Greek Wars (Rhodos in 962 BCE in a generated world) and World of Warships and HLL and boardgames.

Quick!  To the Vomitorium!

My first instinct was to post an image, but a little alarm bell went off in my head on the risks involved in doing an image search for 'vomitorium.'

Lol.  In a vaguely-related note, there is a guy on YouTube who is shilling for the revised Total War who is going over ancient Roman foodstuff.  It's, to me, a very, very fun watch.

Somehow, i like the vintage aspect of the original game and i am not sure i actually want to have the remaster...at least not right now.

Sir Slash

Me too. I beat this game once and I ain't giving it a chance to kick my ass in a re-match.  >:(   Though....a re-mastered Barbarian Invasion is calling my name.
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

I loved the original but to me, this looks tweaked in all the right places.

The remastered Age of Empire games are tons of fun.

Don't know for sure what I'm going to do this weekend game wise.  Tomorrow is devoted to yard work and this afternoon to PBEM files.  Sunday after breakfast and between laundry loads I'll answer PBEM's and then one of these four, War in the East 2, Imperator: Rome, Stellaris, or Imperium: Greek Wars which I just picked up.  Either way I go it won't be as much time as I'd like.

How can they be Scottish if I can understand what they're saying?

Finishing up an attempt at conquering Europe as the resurrected German Empire in vanilla HOI 4.
Also may give WITE 2 my first try after pre-ordering it (always the kiss of death for me as CK2 has been sitting unplayed for nearly a decade)

I might go into Stellaris, but right now I managed to get my head stuck in Panzer Corps 2 - vanilla (no Axis Ops) and I am now in 1941 - Kiev.  My corps has done well in the 1939-1940 campaign  - Poland South, Warsaw, Norway South, Sedan, Channel, and Paris  So far,  Barbarossa South- went as smooth as I hoped.

No mistake Kiev is BIG, 30 turns and you have to destroy every Soviet unit. 88 of them. It's a tough one, so far.

But lately I have been just chilling out. Last week was my 51st Birthday <:-) and to top it off I managed to get the Shingles Vaccine and...the side effects that came with it  :buck2: (OUCH. I thought the 2nd Moderna COVID vaccine shot was rough!)

Vomitorium- It means the exits under the seats at a coliseum.  If you've been to a concert, or a sporting event, you've been in one. [/spoiler]
