I suspect if you found a Ptolemy they would probably be pretty careful of the artifacts. I mean, most of them are family heirlooms...

Protect the artifacts then .......kill the usurpers !!!! Make sure that basket with the figs and asp's gets passed on down the line for future posterity  :)

World really give a damn when the Taliban were blowing up the giant Buddha's of Bamiyan were destroyed by the Taliban, what makes you think they'll care about a few more pieces of ancient antiques get destroyed.
