Windy the only thing I'd look at upgrading to in the future is a larger monitor. It makes a world of difference especially now that you have a really good gpu.

well it looks like I have to wait until June 6th to get the baby delivered... then there's setup and tweaking .... win8... not sure about it... hope the game playing bugs are worked out
Quick game vs medium ai
I normally play terran. I got my ass handed to me tonight in 4 player game vs 3 ai melee. A fleet of void rays descended on me.
I decided to play this game protoss.
The final straw came when my laptop/current rig started shutting down while I was playing Warlock... like WTF???
Its been shipped!!!!!!!!!!
now... man cave* space preparation for my gaming monolith
*who am I kidding... its got a freakin' green chaise lounge in it that my SLCG just had to have ... just no room for it in the house other than in my gaming room.
The only thing I would change is to get yourself an OEM copy of Win 7 then do a clean install of that to replace the bloatware infected copy of Win 8 I expect you'll be getting.

Sweet. I'm loving the monitor.
Its just a regular ol samsung flatscreen TV (courtesy of SLCG's son - overpaid oilpatch service worker that he is) ... the resolution is OK, but not great. Still waiting for the actual monitor.
The visuals are great, the fps are really high accross the board.
WoT at its' highest graphics settings is a very respectable 72-77 fps.
XCOM with sound quality and visuals maxed out, is an impressive immersive game. Hunting for aliens in a burnt out forest with trees creaking in the wind as your men move stealthily forward seeking contact is eery.
