I've used Adblock Plus and the Element Hiding Helper for years

Just don't block them here!

1.  We legitimately need them to keep the operation running here.  We're not making a ton of money here, folks.

2.  We don't just throw whatever at you; we're only throwing game and game-related stuff at you with the occasional book or event thrown in for good measure.

I have Adblocking turned off here and for select other sites. I do purchase from many of the sponsors here and I try to use the GH links whenever I can.

It's some of the bigger news media sites you really need to be concerned about. The ad services many use are crap and notorious for spreading malware.
