HDMI with new PC

New PC has arrived - the 2GB GPU has a DVI connector for the VGA lead from the monitor

Both the monitor and the GPU support HDMI - am i only experiencing half the splendour using the vga lead?

Presumably im not going to see any HD loveliness without the HDMI lead in?

Yes, get an HDMI cable. You don't even have to buy an expensive one and it will make a difference.
