I'm torn between this or an SL8.  I fiddled with both in the store last week and I really like the overall feel and balance of the SL8 but I'n not a fan of the cheek weld (it's going to be too low if I use anything but iron sights and it's not extendable) or the single stack mag and mag-well.  The TAR-21 is nice and light but the trigger pull one the one I was handling was gritty as hell and very heavy.  I'm also wondering about the placement of the piston.  It's pretty much right in your face so I bet you'd be sucking in a lot of gas fumes.

I'll go in again this week, dither for far too long and then likely buy one or the other (although a guy on a gun forum has a fully converted SL8-to G36.  Looks slick as hell and I'd buy it in an instant if he knocks $500 off his asking price. )

I want one of these just for the reviews

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002K6QB78?ie=UTF8&camp=213733&creative=393185&creativeASIN=B002K6QB78&linkCode=shr&tag=ohmy0c-20&redirect=true

And the comments on the reviews.

However, why buy such a cheap pen when you could get this truly stylish Chaos Rollerball Montegrappa for just under seventy?

http://www.amazon.com/Montegrappa-Chaos-Limited-Edition-Rollerball/dp/B006ZYY15U/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

Designed by none other than SYLVESTER STALLONE!! (as a value-added bonus)

Incidentally, people who viewed that second pen (which doesn't get as good a review score as the Onan pen by the way) also looked up the 101 Things You MUST Know About Thai Hookers.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

Are you sure those weren't just your recommendations from Amazon?  ;)

I look forward to the various obscure religious texts and semi-substandard IDW Godzilla graphic-novel compilations that will soon appear on the list.

But back to the pen: Martok should avoid the more expensive Chaos Rollerball as one of the reviewers reports "Causes strange nodules to appear on the user's body which could be mistaken for tumors, but actually are egg sacks for large aggressive spiders."

This could be construed by some people as a drawback, so caveat emptor.

I went with the SL8-5 and ordered some conversion stuff to make it closer in-line with the G36.

Shame the range is closed today and tomorrow.
