RIP... the last of WWII generation are slipping away...  very sad.

We just lost Bob Dole (wounded in Italy) the other day as well.

The hardest part of watching the Band of Brothers episodes when they originally aired was seeing the emotions on those men's faces during the interview segments when recalling events more than 50 years past.  I often wished I had the opportunity to meet, shake hands, and thank every one of them.  It's even harder to watch them now, knowing they are all gone.  Godspeed, you band of brothers.
