Belgian Garage Rock to end the Friday :
Spacebourne 2 & Company of Heroes
Enjoy the weekend !
I'll be doing more CMO work, working on a couple of games of CM (I'm actually slightly above the average score in the Matrix tournament, which is a big achievement for me). Still playing around with Nuclear War Simulator (I owe Jarhead a review on this one. However, I don't think it will be nearly as popular as his post on the 3-axis DCS chair he is buying :notworthy: ) Possibly some CMO.
Can't get enough God of War.
IL2 GB: Flying Circus with me squad. Hopefully fire up newly-bought FC Southern Storm
I made a terrible, terrible mistake. I booted up Shadow Empires to check out the last two beta patches.... and I am hooked again. All those new Steam games I am playing or was going to try are toast. Shadow Empires this weekend, next week and beyond!
I've been playing Crowdrake's Spy Game Roguelike. Pretty cool little game!
I'm still working on OG WitP south Pacific campaign. Had my first brush with the Japanese carriers and came out still floating, while simultaneously gutting their aircraft. Fairly historical result!
I'll be playing Fallen Haven among other things. My SpaceBourne 2 adventures are really starting to shape up as well.
Distant Worlds 2 1.1.2
I've been thinking of Shadow Empire for some time though. I might take the plunge.
Toonces, is that the DOS version of WITP?
Another week, another weekend. At least I'm not having last weekends stuff to deal with.
Anyhoo, I've no idea what I'll be playing outside of "Fix Wife's Car Oil Drain Plug that the Wal Mart Imbeciles Rounded Out and Said that it Wasn't Their Fault," followed by, "Launching Fucked Up Drain Plug through a Wal Mart Window Tied to a Brick."
One of the two, at any rate.
Everything is happening at once. War of rights update, dcs multithreading, star citizen 3.18, warno sniper update, nebulous second side, company of heroes 3 parches almost daily. It's a good time to be alive.
I sense anger in you, Dammit Carl.

I feel your pain. Life is like a box of chocolates sometimes. You never know what imbicile your going to get.
Whatever happened to customer service.
I'm choosing between Distant Worlds 2, Monster Slayer, Monster Train, or perhaps firing up AI War 2. I loved the original but have not yet given the new one a try.

There are worse mistakes to make to be sure. SE is a worthy time-sink

No, it's the non-Admiral's Edition version. AE doesn't have the smaller scenario I'm playing.
Boy...a lot to try to mess with this weekend. New DCS open beta update with the first run of multi-threading support, Star Citizen 3.18 went live this evening and its one of the biggest updates in the history of the game, a code for the Distant Worlds 2 DLC with two new races landed in my inbox today, Contraband Police was released yesterday and so far its been pretty fun, big update to WARNO came this morning with new units, maps, snipers and LRRPS, and i got preview access to a new VR tactical shooter that looks really cool...Ghosts of Tabor. I'll be lucky if I experience half of this...
DCS multithreading, DCS multithreading, DCS multithreading.
May also fire up the An-225 in MSFS in VR.
I will be selling bricks to Dammit Carl. Followed by some quality time with WitE 1, then some quality time cleaning the pool which is such hot work I'll probably need a little, :martini: to help-out. And a nap afterward. Have a great weekend Grogs.
Just PBEM's and playtesting. Have a Vassal game of Fire in the Lake (COIN) on one table and I'm going to play Lanzerath Ridge on the dining room table and probably do an AAR on it before going back to Skies Above Britain. Might get some Distant Worlds 2 in as well or Lock 'n Load Tactical Digital depending on how I industrious I feel about yard work next week.
Plug out, oil changed (items torqued to spec this time by fucking hand like it should be) and all seems well. Time to launch a certain something something at a certain cocksucking box store.
To be fair, I got lazy and thought, "well, I've got the money; why not just let others deal with the mess," and have gotten lucky up to this point. Lesson learned.
To celebrate a happy car, I'm going to go crash some in Wreckfest.
