"you are the rule maker, the dictator, the mini- Stalin, Mao, Hitler, the emperor, generalissimo, the MAN. You may talk the talk and appear to be quite easy going to foster popularity, but to the MAN I say F*CK YOU." And Steve G is F******g rude ? Just another day on the BF forum ... one demented idiots reaction to BF disagreeing about the thickness of the armour on a Tiger II turret mantlet.

Silent Disapproval Robot

The actual minis game is great.  This app doesn't look too good though.

Turn based air combat games on the PC are hit and miss...

The Lordz "Check your Six" was a disaster....
The old "Blue Max" game from the '90s (recently put back up on Steam and available) was tolerable...
Slitherine's Warhammer Flight Command is only mildly entertaining...

The only turn-based air combat games that I really liked were

"Sid Meier's Ace Patrol" and "Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies". Both of these are a hoot but unfortunately don't run on my current rig...

Don't forget the Avalon Hill/Big Time Software titles from the 90's:

Yes, I remember liking those. But really can't remember the gameplay well now.

The gameplay was great, and I really wish someone would remaster them, or at least have GoG get these working on modern systems.

It's too bad the Matrix version of Down In Flames crashed and burned due to its weird internet-dependent game engine.

I'm still waiting for the solitaire board game "Western Front Ace" by Compass Games / Greg Smith.  Heard it's at the printer.

And flight commander 2. That was good. Still have the original product. Box paper manual fact sheet etc

Just curious if you have a link where it says at printer.  Thought I read the other day it was still being worked on with no eta for printers or distribution.  But maybe I missed it.

Pretty sure I saw that in a Boardgame Geek forum post (maybe by Gregory Smith).
