Professional Simulation - Digital and Tabletop / BALTIC SHIELD-Operation PARRY
Last post by Tripoli - October 03, 2024, 03:04:02 PMFight Club International is running a Tactical Decision Game (TDC) using Combat Mission Pro, titled BALTIC SHIELD-Operation PARRY, beginning tomorrow at 1100 GMT. The game casts you as the Commanding Officer of Task Force Aegis, and it is simple to play. The aim of the game is to produce a set of short written orders for each unit under your command and then enter them in the web form here: https://www.fightclubinternational.org/campaigns/tdg-op-parry
When producing these orders, you need only to consider the scenario summary info found on this webpage and the supporting orders and intelligence materials on the webpage above.
Together, your orders should form an overall course of action that will achieve the objectives stated in the Briefing section below (and elaborated in the downloadable OPORD document).
Fight Club will be collating submissions over the next month, after which a panel of serving & former military personnel will review each player's submission and select those considered to be the most promising. These will then be executed within Combat Mission: Professional Edition, with the highest-scoring submission being declared the winner.

The woman, identified as Fawzia Amin Sido, then fled to another place in Gaza.

Leeds-based studio XR Games looks set to lay off nearly all of its staff, following the poorly-received release of Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded.
72 people - out of the studio's 84 staff total - were told they were at risk of redundancy this week, according to a LinkedIn post by XR Games' former head of production on LinkedIn (thanks, RoadtoVR). Just 12 employees are likely to remain.
"This goes beyond restructuring," the staff member wrote. "I'll keep my thoughts and observations to myself. Today, my focus is on helping those affected."

Last post by Jason Petho - October 02, 2024, 11:24:37 PMWe went over the latest and greatest news with the North Koreans and I showed off a bit of the latest goodies from Petri in regards to the future of Lua. Then we dove back into the final legs of the city fighting south of Rafah while I attempted to break out to the west and try to secure a victory by utilizing the exit objective I had completely neglected until the end of the scenario. Definitely some good lessons in city fighting and paying attention to the map! This is using the 2.40 BETA for Middle East.
