Explaining the Knoxville oyster joke again: there actually IS a small restaurant in the mountains southeast of Knoxville, which caters to the nearby retired/rich clientele (who settled in the area for the view and the climate), by bringing in salt-and-freshwater food from all across North America everyday, delivered if I recall correctly by helicopter.

That's probably what the joke is referring to specifically, aside from the general disparity. My brother and I and his frat buddies would make jokes like that whenever we passed it on the way to a particular golf course nearby in the mountains.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

We have steamed crabs in Maryland year round. They are local only in the summer. They fly them in from the Gulf and the SE coast the rest of the time. In this day and age you can have fresh seafood anywhere, at the right price. :)

Hahaha!  That's great.  People should be nailed with a squirt bottle anytime they employ meaningless/empty corporate buzzwords.
