Is a 'DD-214' some kind of form used when soldiers return stateside or get discharged from service?

First I've ever heard of it.  I suspect that if it was true, there would already be a pesticide made from walnuts to take advantage of that fact.

Is the same true for peppermint oil - which I was assured had awesome spider repelling attributes
