I think every illegitimate child whose mother is on welfare or Medicaid should be required to have their DNA tested. Then the fathers of those bastards should be made to pay the cost of feeding and caring for their children.

you know how much DNA testing costs? and how do you compel men to submit their DNA  for Testing? and on what grounds? [Maury could start giving away iphones?]  Its a culture thing I think.

According to the article, between $299 and $575. Which is a lot cheaper than paying the bills bringing a child up to adulthood.

That would be covered by federal and state legislation. The term "deadbeat" comes to mind.

I would not be for mandatory paternity testing.

However, I might be convinced to support some kind of mandatory testing if you want to receive any kind of government money. Nothing wrong with helping those in need, but there's nothing wrong with having some extra items to go along with the money.
