Here it is, might have to change my weekend gaming plans.
Mine too. Thanks for the post budd. You're a true Wargamer's Best Friend. :bd:
Sweet.
Got it installed, this is really a great gesture in an era where war game demo's are the exception rather than the rule.
Here's the list of what comes with it. the entries that start with # Units are just a show case of unit/terrain graphics.

Hi everyone,
We're really excited to get this out to you. We're hopeful it will give more people exposure to the game system as well as give our new scenario designers a good platform to design on. We will also be testing a range of different things including game scale, terrain differences and rule changes. Hopefully there will be more content provided in the future.
If you have any questions please feel free to fire away.
David

The link to download the game is at the bottom of that page.
Thx for the heads up! O0
Thanks. It looks like some great scenarios are there. Just ordered it now from JTS! O0
I'm confused as to what this is a demo of. Is it a demo for a new title, or is it a demo for the existing series? In other words, If I have PB Normandy and Kursk, is there anything new here for me to check out? Sorry for the stupid question...
I would assume these aren't in the Kursk or Nomandy games? Or are they?
May 1940; Belgium - Battle of Hannut 2 scenarios
March 1941; North Africa – Mersa el Brega 4 scenarios
August 1942; Guadalcanal – Tenaru River 2 scenarios

Different battles - this isnt a re-hash of existing contetn - its almost a new game. All new content - france 40, desert , pacific, plus a couple of new russian ones.
Boy download is real slow, are there regular downloads like this? Says it will take 11 hours :crazy2:

How do you view the large graphical OOB that I see on the Kursk and Normandy pages? Is it a special hot key (don't see anything in the menus)?

It's not a game feature, mores the pity. It's just something they put together for the documentation

I thought that might be the case, but was looking and didn't see it in the documents, do you know which one?

Wonderful! I've always liked this system. Most recently I did a sort of US First Div takes Caumont thing.
I've started playing the usual Mers el Berga thing, naturally.

It's under Help\Campaign Notes
I added some example visual OB's like the other games.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that following on from the recent updates to the released Panzer Battles titles, the (free) Demo has got some love.
Most importantly, we have expanded the content from 13 scenarios to 25. There are additional engagements at the Tartar Ditch in the Crimea (September 1941), Narva River, Estonia (February 1944) as well as a small Cassino scenario (also February 1944). Mersa Brega has also been replaced with the version that was released in Panzer Battles North Africa 1941.
More info here as well as links for download/update; https://www.wargamedesignstudio.com/2019/08/25/panzer-battles-demo-upgraded-to-version-1-01/ (https://www.wargamedesignstudio.com/2019/08/25/panzer-battles-demo-upgraded-to-version-1-01/)
Thanks,
David
