I thought I did but I looked and didn't see it. So I'm losing my mind, either way...awesome!

BECAUSE

Because I own Cd's from A Flock of Seagulls ...

In the 80's we were into punk and new wave and showing any signs of happiness was illegal.  Dresscode : black.
(still like the music !)

MetalDog

And the One Song to Rule Them All is Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones

"If its a Balrog, I don't think you get an option to not consent......." - bob

I figured you would like that.  It's super lame.

I saw this song done live at the old Agora Ballroom/Stage West in West Hartford.
Vituð ér enn - eða hvat?  -Voluspa

Nothing really rocks and nothing really rolls and nothing's ever worth the cost...

"Don't you look at me that way..." -the Abyss

'When searching for a meaningful embrace, sometimes my self respect took second place' -Iggy Pop, Cry for Love

... this will go down on your permanent record... -the Violent Femmes, 'Kiss Off'-

"I'm not just anyone, I'm not just anyone-
I got my time machine, got my 'electronic dream!"
-Sonic Reducer, -Dead Boys

^ You know what's funny about that?

I'd never heard of these guys before. Well...maybe I DID hear them, way back in the day, but I sure don't remember them or this song. It came up on a YouTube play list and I thought the song was pretty damn good.

You'd never heard of Public Image LTD, lead by John Lydon (AKA Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols)?  :o

Rise was big on in the College Radio scene when the song came out, but of course College Radio was very different back then. Much more cool music, much less politics, unless you count what was in the music.
