Monuments Men looks like it's on the same engine as that Hurtgen Forest game, which I found to be quite buggy and unenjoyable. 

I recall Marching Eagles getting some positive opinions when it came out.  I picked it up and never played it.

Not familiar with their 3D hex-based games, but that Peleliu title looks at least somewhat more appealing than Monuments Men.

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.

I guess it's sort of nice that the word "tactical" seems to refer to some kind of seriousness during your moments of mental clarity.
