Just bought it. And a companion volume on the Byzantine wars against the Muslims leading up to Manzikert (1071 AD) to read while trying out Crusader Kings II. It's going to be a pleasant wargaming autumn. Cleansing my gaming palette now with RPGs to be ready for the heavier stuff.
