1st niece (almost 7) learned to play Carcassone solitaire tonight on the iphone == super-proud uncle.  :D :D :D :D :D :D

She also learned to play Jaipur (actual cards, no iOS port yet); inhaled that game like crack, along with her younger sister who despite being only 5 has picked up a lot of the subtle ideas of that game even though she can't count well enough yet to score at the end.

Hmmm, now how long will it take me to work them up to, say, Agricola...? (The iOS port for that game and several others of similar ilk, like Puerto Rico, is supposed to be ridiculously good. Though I don't recall if PR has an iPhone version. Agricola certainly does.)

I have Agricola on my iPad as well. It vexes me but it's fun to play.
