Asid's dogs of war site has all the links to download the mods.  I tried to download the mod a couple years ago and it took me to one of those sites that make you register to download and it made my antivirus software send up foul play flares so I passed on it.  I don't like downloading mods unless they are from clean sites that don't ask for credentials.  Most likely was a false positive, but I passed on it anyways.  The mod might be hosted at a better site lately...haven't checked.
I have had no problems downloading. The files are all clean. I have downloaded several times :)

Are all the mods already JSME ready, just unzip into mod folder and activate. Been waiting for the game to go on sale, which it seems to never do.Might jump now.
Yes JSME. I use it. Only mod to pay extra attention to is the Steel Sound Mod (SSM)

Steel Sound Mod ATTENTION!
It is STRICTLY recommended before sound mod installation - delete the next two folders (from your current install):
- data\k42\loc_rus\sounds\speech\ger
- data\k42\loc_rus\sounds\speech\tank
Then install SSM

I hope this helps

Asid...do you have the skinny on when STA3.0 is going to be out? What ever happened to STA2.0? I see threads about people beta testing it, but I can't seem to locate a DL link. I don't feel like installing STA1.0 if 3.0 is right around the corner...

Hi Jarhead

V2.0 is only for internal testers.

V3.0 Alpha is very close to release. However it may be some time until this is released.

V1.0 is good and adds a lot.

I will get more info and get back to you.

I'm kinda liking the fact that this is a tank sim only now.....so, does the game have the ability to show losses after a battle? Like a end game scoreboard?

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up, Asid. Disappointed that 3.0 is so far off.

Do you have 2.0? Is it worth a contribution to have early access?

I HAVE 2.0

The contribution is 10 euros. The money goes toewards the cost of the site.

STA2.1 has
New tanks: Cromwell, T-34/76/40, different Shermans
New Campaigns:- Nazi power - Fury
New mod: "muddy winter" adopted. Many bugs fixed.

2.1 is a more updated and advanced version.

2.1 is for users who want to see more. For the beginners STA1.0 is a good choice.

I enjoy it. The choice is yours.

STA1.1

By lockie
Soon, the version STA1.1 will be released. Because STA1.0 is no longer supported there swill be one file, which will include some additional modes, such as:

- September Update 2015
- aspect/fix widescreen 16:9
- Steel Sound Mod 2.3
- all models and some textures files has been packed in the original files of the game (this method somehow optimize the resource of the PC, especially sound files).
One file with almost "all inclusive" has better and simple installation than compilation of them.
Therefore user should install:
- 4Gb patch (win7,8,10)
- GMP's (~150 missions)
- Nvidia Inspector/Sweet Fx (enable AA in the game)
- Weather mods (landscape)

STA1.1 is available through the torrent link.

Installation(only English version):
1. 4GB patch. It is ONLY for Windows 7,8,10 owners.
2. STA 1.1
3. GMP1.x (optional)
4. GMP2.x (optional)
5. GMP3.x (optional)
6. Any Weather Mod (optional)

Think im gonna fold and get this at gamersgate. How do you download the patch, i try but it always wants me to sign up or takes me to another page to download something else. Is this patch available anywhere else. Looks like STA download is the same site, anyway to download without signing up for anything? I see the free download 60 second wait timer but it never counts down and no matter what download button I click it tries to get me to download something else.

Not having too much luck with that torrent file either, tried to 2 different torrent clients no dice. Only message i get is connecting to peers and a message saying "may be insufficient sources" I've tried utorrent and bittorrent. Been awhile since i dealt with torrents, just let it thru the firewall and all should be good ...right.
