I have kind of used that thread for all things linux and gaming.

I don't use Steam but do use Desura since they were the first to support linux games, even the free ones.

I do not use Steam, but I would like to see the strangle hold Micrrosoft has on gaming end. I hope that I-Pad will take the non -gamers ,which comprises more than 92% of the market if you do not count  business customers away from microsoft. This will allow game software developers to move to a alternate os.
