Space Pirates And Zombies for $2.49 at GOG until Monday. Demo on Steam. Looks like a lot of gameplay for less than a coffee!

I had some fun with it, despite not being a big Top-Down Shooter fan.  Probably because it has some exploration in it.

The Humble Store is having a Paradox Hits Special. Up to 90% off Paradox titles.

For example, Warlock II and Crusader Kings II are featured for $9.99 while Victoria II will only set you back $3.99 USD.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection is on sale for $2.49 at Steam right now. I bought it because I love 4x space games. I just hope it's good.  :P

I bought it a couple of months ago in a gamersgate sale. I've not got around to playing it - like soooo many games I have  :-[- so let me know what you think of it. :)

I really like it. Ship design and battles are fun, research tree is extensive and AI is challenging (at least for me but YMMV). Well worth making time to play!

The 4x side isn't very deep.  SotS was more focused on fighting the battles.  The grand strategy layer just felt like it was there to produce them with minimum fuss.

Maybe more akin to the way early Total War games were, rather than traditional 4X.  Light turn-based grand strat producing battles that were more involved and took some time to play out.  Although I do think the grand start side did a couple things well that others don't always do:  somewhat randomized tech trees every race & playthrough along with each race having different styles of movement.

I still need to check out SotS 2 some more.

SotS is an outstanding series of games.  At $2.49, its practically a crime.

Hi, any feedback from dealing with Humblebundle?  Those look like great deals though, just wondering

Never had to deal with their support but for buying they're no problem at all.  Well-established by now and really good reputation in general, deservedly so.

If you've ever wanted to buy an indie game directly from the developer in the last year, chances are it's Humble's widget you've seen.

Great stuff.  Those are great deals on EUIV, Victoria 2 & Crusader Kings 2

Yeah, Paradox games always seem to be on sale for some reason.  I guess it works for them.  I might pick up EUIV myself at some point.
