Well about the only thing that has tickled my fancy so far as a price point I like is Steel Division 2.

Not much out there plus I managed to snag 3 months of Gamepass for a buck so I'll rip through the fringe games I'm interested in there.

A few on my wishlist.  But nothing major.

No new games for me.  Might pick up some DLC's for games I don't have time to play....   ::)

not as exciting this year as in previous years...  Don't see big discounts on things I really want. Still, picked up some DLCs and a few non-game utilities...

I am finally not lying when I say I'm tapped.

I'd make a joke that my wife would divorce me if I got any more games but that's already been my Christmas gift from her.    O0

Even knowing I'll be single soon?  I always figured my talk of dongles perked you up.  8)

In all seriousness though.  Yeah, I'm comparing the discounts to the November sale and it looks like by and large there were better deals at Thanksgiving.

Don't think many of the Steam sales have been that great the last few years, seems basically sale prices you can get throughout the year.....many years gago the xmas sales seemed special, not so much anymore.

The Summer Sale seems to be the only one every year where they have consistently good deals across the board.

Seems similar to me, but I don't look that hard anymore.  Just not like the olden days I remember where I actually got excited:)

Well I picked up one the music dlc for Imperator:Rome, the just released new Battlepak for Lock 'n Load Tactical Digital, and Draft Day Pro Football 2022.  That will probably do it for me

Yep the sales are always the same now that I don't even care anymore. You can find steam games much cheaper elsewhere now. I've got so many games on my back-burner to play that I just wait to buy anymore games when they are actually a bargain other places...Also never paying for full price for a game or a million DLC's ever again.

I completed my Order of Battle collection with the Matrix coupon.
Was temped to put War in the East 2 in my basket as well, but who am I kidding? Won't play that thing ever anyway.
Looking forward to OOB though!

I want to pick-up Thrones of Britannia for $9.99 but I haven't even hardly touched Attila.   :idiot2: Somebody talk me into it.

Command Ops 2 modules are on sale with 40% off. I am not sure whether that is a common occurrence.

Tempted to get the Arnheim module for some Airborne Assault nostalgia.

If it just wasn't for the excessive iconitis in those games. I can never remember which icon stands for what.

Often wanted to get back into that game and purchase modules, but the update process by the developer seems never ending so I always end up not doing it.  I am sure the current game is good enough without the future updates, but something holds me back because of the progress speed.

Command Ops 2 is an excellent operational game! I often get bored of electronic chits and counter games (I rather push physical counters), but CO2 just has flair.
If you can get a few modules for a nice price I would certainly recommend getting them.

This time around, I seem to be looking more at the sale on Epic than I am on Steam.  The sale prices seem about the same, but then you can use a coupon for another $10 off.  Downside is there is much less to choose from.

Well I did see Cold Waters is on sale.  Problem is as I said there's nothing major - Matrix/Slitherine to their credit has a better sale. GOG is good too. But I might grab UA: Dreadnoughts anyway.  Fall of the Samurai is on sale too..so HMMMM.

There's a few but I have to think "BACKLOG."

I'm in the exact opposite position.  I want to pick up Atilla but I have hardly touched Thrones of Britannia.  Somebody talk me into it.   ;D

I saw that the other night on Epic.  They don't really have much TBS games on sale.  Still it's good to have a competitor to Steam.

Thrones of Britannia is really under-rated, especially if you enjoy British or Viking history.

Attila is also underrated and the amount of mods for it is incredible, including the 1212AD mod, aka Medieval 3 TW.

That's true but many of the mods aren't finished. And I don't know if they ever will be, I've been burned too many times before by great mods that the authors just walk away from and never come back. The 1212 Mod is in 8 parts, a lot to download and install. But it does look really great. Vanilla Attila, hey that rhymes, is a whole lot of little fish trying to eat 2 great big ones. You can be a little fish trying get big or a big fish trying not to get eaten, which IS fun but, gets old fast. Everybody in the world is angry, all the time. And hungry. And diseased. That's the trouble with the Dark Age, it's DARK. I end-up just Razing everything and walking away from it.  :coolsmiley:

Gonna have to think about Atilla then.  Wishlisted in any case.   :coolsmiley:

Don't let me scare you off it W8. It is a very pretty game with great units and some beautiful battlefields to fight on. The cities are well done and siege battles can be real fun. As either Rome it's just too much Whack-a-Mole for me. Maybe some patches have improved it, who knows?

I haven't spent a whole lot of time with Attila but I enjoyed what I played of it.  I mean, it's the standard Total War fare, so if you're into the time period it's pretty much a no-brainer.

I'm pretty loaded down with games at the moment, but I do plan on picking up the IL-2 Bodenplatte DLC and, sort of related, the Ultimate Fishing Bundle on Humble Bundle.
