слава Україна!

We can't live under the threat of a c*nt because he's threatening nuclear Armageddon.

Sir Slash

If this were Warhammer, when you called-in Smoke Rounds, the Germans would call-in, 'Whirlwind Rounds' to blow it away.  :o

Poll:  One of the issues we would like to get community feedback on is on the image we use to introduce the MG-42 (aka "Hitler's Buzzsaw") to the players.  One of the things we strive to do in BoC is to elicit in a player, (as much as is possible in a computer game), some of the same feelings as the historical troops did in the war. Hence the poll.  Because of the importance of the MG-42 and the real life dread it inspired, we want the image of the MG-42 to inspire as much dread as possible, so we have a Twitter poll.  Which of the three images in this post appear to be most intimidating to you?

For those who don't use Twitter, here are the images in order.  If you want to vote, just post on this thread:

Well, none of them are pointing at me, much less buzzsawing! -- but for b/w contrast, shot composition, and detail, I like the first one best.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

I could be completely wrong, but to me no. 2 and 3 seem taken during training, the faces look relaxed.
The first photo I think was taken during a more stressful period.

So my choice would be the first.

Hadn't noticed that, but very good point!

Even if only the cactuses are to blame, still...

(Note: cactuses might not fit your setting tho?)
