Good news, AoR was one of my go to games, mainly for the simplicity of the interface & ease of learning, and huge range of conflicts. Will be adding it to my Steam wishlist.

Man panties are certainly tightening.  The impression I got from the video was that it might be years away from release but the comments from the developer on Steam indicate that a June release for early access is likely.

Yes it's close - been postponed a few times but those who really do want to have a  bite can support the creator on his patreon and access the dev build, from my understanding. So it's there, really there.

Otherwise you can wait a few more months and wait for the offer to pop up on Steam :)
But it is going to be free to play, IIRC anyway, so it's up to you.
