Title: War Plan: Pacific: Holding Shanghai so far

I'm sure this can't last, but so far I'm holding on to Shanghai:

  I think it is the usual: nobody plays the allied side very much in these games so they usually do well against the AI since the allies have generally been played by the AI
and to make the AI do well the allies get pretty beefy.

  And it gets worse (I let the Imperial troops come ashore and then cut them off (some have already been "overrun") this is actually something like the real Chinese operational moves
(not at Shanghai, but in later battles):

Now I really loved War Plan Europe.  The sad thing, for me anyway, was that once I got my fill of the game I never picked it up again. 

I am looking forward to this AAR though.  Maybe I can be sold on buying this game just so the collection is complete.
