I call that a 'boggan, the best I ever had!


Explanation of 'boggan:  'boggan is short for toboggan.  It's what the folks here call a wool hat, or a watch cap, or, in the case of mirth's not very funny at all attempt at using the French language to annoy me, a toque.  So...take off, eh!

I'll have you know that toque is not French, it's Canadian! And a toque looks nothing like a wool cap or watch cap. It loks like this:


Must have the pompom to be a proper toque.

You have to cap these misconceptions early before they spread. Hat's off fer trying though, Eh.

While I appreciate the language and chapeau lessons, am I the only one who finds it disturbing that these people thinks it's ok to wear something named after a sled on their head?!
