Apocalypse WWI (Doc series, AHC/Discovery)

Excellent documentary series with an astounding amount of movie footage from the period.   Came out last year (2014) on AHC.

It's got a really grim mood throughout.  They did a great job mixing overall details, narratives, quotes, etc within the chronological framework to hit on everything from the grand scale down to the grunt's experience.

One of the best war docs I've seen.  O0
