Yeah, I'm loving season 2 so far. 

It looks like Star Trek has done some great course correction.

Picard Season 3 Next Generation Season 8 made up massively for the previous two lackluster seasons and finally was the TNG finale we all wanted. 

Strange New Worlds feels like the great episodic Star Trek we grew up with and we're even getting a live action crossover with the excellent Lower Decks. 

Discovery and Picard Season 1-2 are becoming distant memories.

Here's my logic...

If I'm going to go to the frontier and explore to the edge of the galaxy, I want Kirk

If I need to negotiate I want Picard

If I want great all around Captians who can adapt, I want Pike or Janeway

If I want to go to war I want Sisko

If I need someone to get her crew in line I want Freeman.

If I need a dog groomer I want Archer

If I need someone who is just always right, never wrong and can instantly come up with something that the entire crew can't see, I want Michael Burnham.
